Glee: The Complete Fifth Season will be released on DVD on 20th October 2014.
The penultimate season of the show picks up where season 4 left off as the New Directions look forward to a possible back to back win at this year’s Nationals. Meanwhile in the big apple, Rachel (Lea Michelle) is in the running to fulfill her lifelong ambition – a role on Broadway – and everyone’s favourite couple, Blain (Darren Criss) and Kurt (Chris Colfer) are about to take their relationship to the next level.
The fifth season pays tribute to the late Cory Monteith, celebrates the series’ 100th episode and sees the return of some familiar faces including Holly Holliday (Gwyneth Paltrow, Iron Man), April Rhodes (Kristen Chenoweth, The Good Wife), Quinn (Dianna Agron), Brittany (Heather Morris), Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Mike Chang (Harry Shum Jr.).
Other guest stars include Adam Lambert, Demi Lovato and Chace Crawford.
Special features on the release include the Glee Music Jukebox, a look back at the show’s 100 episodes and a featurette entitled ‘Glee in the City’.
