Stranger Things was the surprise hit of 2016 when it debuted to widespread critical acclaim on Netflix.
The show will return for a second season this Halloween and the first footage has been released. A teaser for the new season debuted during the Super Bowl at the weekend and it’s got fans worked up into a frenzy.
Stranger Things 2 picks up a year after Will’s return. Everything seems back to normal… but a darkness lurks just beneath the surface, threatening all of Hawkins.
The teaser features footage from a classic Eggo commercial that debuted in 1979 and aired in the 80s.
Stranger Things 2 will feature the return of cast members Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono and Matthew Modine.
