Get your first look at Netflix’s Suburra: The Series

The first Italian Netflix Original Series Suburra: The Series, will arrive worldwide on 6th October 2017.

Suburra is directed by Placido, Andrea Molaioli, and Giuseppe Capotondi, and is a crime thriller set in Rome which describes how the Church, the State, and organized crime collide and blur the lines between the legal and the illicit in their savage quest for power.

At the heart of the story, are three young men: Numero 8 (Alessandro Borghi), Spadino (Giacomo Ferrara) and Lele (Eduardo Valdarnini) with different backgrounds, ambitions, and passions who will have to forge alliances to realize their deepest desires. Other characters include Sara Monaschi (Claudia Gerini), Amedeo Cinaglia (Filippo Nigro), Samurai (Francesco Acquaroli) and Manfredi Anacleti (Adamo Dionisi).

Suburra: The Series is based on the novel of the same name but set several years prior. It will feature 20 days told over 10 episodes.
