Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and the S.T.A.R. Labs team found a metahuman they couldn’t save in the latest episode of The Flash.
Bette Sans Souci (Kelly Frye), a former military explosives expert who was changed by the particle accelerator when it bonded bomb shrapnel to her body on a cellular level, was being hunted by General Wade Eiling (Clancy Brown). When Bette tried to kill Eiling, she was shot turning her body into one giant bomb. Luckily Barry managed to get her away from the city so the explosion caused no real damage.
It was revealed that Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanaugh) and Eiling had worked together on experiements. Eiling wanted to continue but Dr. Wells refused.
The next episode of the season is The Flash is Born. A muscly metahuman who can transform into metal wreaks havoc in Central City. Joe, meanwhile, reaches out to Dr Wells.
