Priya collapses
The youngest Sharma has been struggling with an eating disorder that could be risking the health of her unborn baby. This week things came to a head when Priya collapsed in the café and was whisked off to hospital.
Worried father of the unborn child, David, finds out that his wife Alicia knew about Priya’s disorder but had kept it a secret from him and he’s not a happy bunny. The issue looks set to drive a wedge between the two with Alicia feeling guilty but not really wanting David to get to attached to Priya again.
Meanwhile, Priya’s parents Rishi and Georgia, think they are helping their daughter by patronising her and trying to force feed her. What they don’t realise is that they are just driving her to make herself sick behind their backs.
Marlon’s 40th is a wash out
Paddy’s plans for the best boy’s day out birthday ever go down the pan when the company that he’s booked with don’t deliver. So it’s no go-karting, no bungee jumping and instead Marlon gets a surprise that he doesn’t want – a visit from old flame Donna and a confession that her daughter is actually his. Marlon ends up drowning his sorrows in the pub before telling Donna that he doesn’t want anything to do with her or her daughter.
Megan scuppers Charity’s plans
Charity has decided to plead poverty and try to take Jai for every penny in their divorce settlement but she didn’t bank on Megan overhearing her plans and doing some plotting of her own. Megan has never been Charity’s biggest fan and also seems to be falling for long term family friend Jai so she takes a copy of a contract showing that Charity is being offered a 1/3 of Home Farm’s business. Jai uses this to get his solicitor to ruin Charity’s plans.
Fuming Charity is trying to find out who leaked the information. Megan confessed to Declan it was her leaving him covering up for her to Charity and dividing his loyalties. To make matters worse for Charity, Rishi has decided to withdraw his investment in her haulage business.
