Belle is arrested
After weeks of turmoil, Belle finally confesses to her dad, Zak, that she killed Gemma. Thinking he’s doing what she wants, he takes her to the police station where she tells the detectives her story and is subsequently arrested. She’s even made to relive the event by the police at the scene of the crime. How will Dom react when he finds out we wonder, he’s been getting very close to Zak and Belle since Gemma died.
James secret crush comes out
Chas cannot understand why Cain is so anti her new flame James and manages to get him to open up about why as he reveals that it is in fact Moira that he had the hots for. Having had more than her fair share of problematic boyfriends (Cameron, Carl etc) she decides to knock this one on the head. How will James react? He’s carrying a little secret of his own that something did happen with Moira in the past, might he just be spiteful enough to tell Cain in petty revenge?
Megan and Jai get cosy as Charity’s scheming continues
Continuing her conniving ways, Charity is determined to milk Jai for every penny in their divorce and manages to persuade Jimmy that their shared haulage company is going under and they need to file for bankruptcy and reopen under a different name. That way she’ll get out of paying Rishi the money back that he invested. Must be something about her scheming that turns Declan on, as he tells Charity that he loves her.
Megan’s attempts to comfort Jai lead to a kiss, could this be a blossoming relationship starting? We know two people that aren’t going to be happy – Charity and Declan!
Ruby’s baby plans are shattered
Financial worries are plaguing Ruby and Ali and it looks like it is putting plight to their dreams of IVF and Ruby getting pregnant. Ali then manages to lose Ruby her job as a carer when she steals money from the client, leaving Ruby to take it back in shame. To make matters worse Dan tells the pair that he can no longer be the sperm donor leaving Ruby devastated.
