Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards wins Splash!
Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards was crowned the winner of Splash! tonight.
Winning the show, Eddie beat actor Jake Canuso and TV presenter Linda Barker after a night of fierce competition. Linda Barker finished in third place with Jake Canuso taking second place.
During the ITV live final, the three celebrities had to perform a solo dive and synchronised dive with Olympian and trainer Tom Daley.
Splash! may have been derided by the critics but fans have tuned in each week to see the celebrities learn to dive. We’re sure seeing famous faces in their swimwear was an attractive proposition too and having Tom Daley in his speedos every week didn’t hurt.
Will it be back for a second series? Probably but we think it may just get overhauled by TV bosses.
