Comedy Central UK’s FriendsFest arrives in London

Comedy Central UK’s FriendsFest, presented by The Luna Cinema, has finally arrived in the capital, providing Friends fans in the UK a perfect chance to celebrate the brilliant show.

Friends stars Jane Sibbett and Jessica Hecht, who play Carol and Susan in the long running sitcom, were joined by celebs including Jasmin Walia, Olivia Buckland, Alex Bowen, Jamie Jewitt, Georgia Harrison and Fran Parman as they celebrated the sold-out return of the event to London.

The star studded premiere party saw guests entertained by Fleur East who performed a DJ set while drinks and canapés were served from Chick and Duck’s Bar.

FriendsFest is a celebration of all things Friends where visitors can get together and immerse themselves in the world made famous by the hugely popular TV show.

Finishing off an epic twelve week tour of the country, taking in Sheffield, Cardiff, Manchester, Oxfordshire, Essex and London, this year Comedy Central UK’s Friendsfest takes place at Clissold Park, London.

The 2017 event not only treats visitors to the best of the fest from previous years, including Monica’s apartment, Central Perk, Monica’s Moon-Dance Diner, Ross and Rachel’s Vegas Wedding Chapel and ‘recreate the titles’, but this year fans can also visit a full scale set of Joey and Chandler’s apartment complete with corridor leading to Monica’s and have the ultimate throwback photo at the gang’s high school prom.

Jane Sibbett said: ‘We can’t believe this event is in its third year and it just keeps getting bigger! Over 120,000 fans have visited FriendsFest this year which shows how much people love the show. We are so excited to be here and it’s incredible to see how popular the show is after almost 23years!’

Jessica Hecht said: ‘Friends was such a big part of our lives for over 10 years and it is amazing that Comedy Central have created FriendsFest so we can all celebrate this iconic sitcom together.’
