Ché Chesterman leaves The X Factor 2015

It was an intense finale tonight and the three remaining contestants, Ché Chesterman, Reggie N Bollie and Louisa Johnson really showed what they were made of. At the end of the night though it was time to reveal who made the top two for tomorrow’s final results of the competition and unfortunately it was time to say goodbye to Ché Chesterman the young singer from Essex.

Ché was an incredible contestant and was one of the strongest singers of the competition. The singer seemed in control tonight but some of the judges disagreed and commented that he was a bit nervous and not confident on stage.

Tonight Ché chose to enter the competition by opening with In The Air Tonight and I thought he was a big tentative when he started but then picked up. His performance of Valerie was good but divided the judges: Rita said that she was happy for him, whilst Cheryl said that his vocals were god-given. Simon didn’t enjoy the entertainment on stage and said that Ché was the underdog of the competition and needed to get hold of his nerves. Nick disagreed with Simon and said that Ché looked so happy on stage and he was grateful for working with him every week.

His second performance, was a duet with legendary Rod Stewart of The First Cut is The Deeptest and was infinitely better. I personally thought that the performance was good but the song was a bit dated and lacked the current aspect that other contestants showed tonight.

The X Factor 2015 results will be revealed tomorrow night on ITV.
