Celebrity Squares is making its way back to UK TV screens ITV has announced.
The classic game show will be produced by September Films, GroupM Entertainment and hosted by film and stage star Warwick Davis. Celebrity Squares is based on Noughts & Crosses with a grid of nine boxes containing a celebrity in each.
The celebrities answer questions then itās up to the contestants to say if they agree or disagree with their answer. If they are correct they win the square and they must try to get three boxes in a line in any direction. A winning line means the contestant wins the round and the money. The overall winning contestant then goes on to play the end game for the star prize.
Talking about the show Warwick Davis said, āCelebrity Squares is one of those special television shows that everyone remembers ā I grew up watching it, and Iām thrilled to be presenting this updated version of a TV classic.ā
The series was commissioned by ITVās Director of Comedy and Entertainment Elaine Bedell and Commissioning Editor, Entertainment Peter Davey.
