More casting announced for Broadchurch

Four more cast additions have been announced for the second series of Broadchurch.

Marianne Jean-Baptiste, James Dā€™Arcy, Eve Myles and Phoebe Waller-Bridge will all appear in the new series of the show. Marianne will play a leading role in the series with James, Eve and Phoebe all taking on integral roles.

No firm details on characters has been announced yet as ITV keep everything tightly under wraps. The actors will be starring alongside the previously announced David Tennant, Olivia Colman, Jodie Whittaker, Andrew Buchan, Arthur Darvill and Charlotte Rampling.

TVā€™s Director of Drama Steve November and Controller of Drama Victoria Fea have commissioned the new series.

ā€œWeā€™re delighted with the stellar cast assembled for the new series of Broadchurch,ā€ said Steve.Ā  ā€œThereā€™s a real sense of heightened anticipation about whatā€™s to come, although weā€™re desperate to protect the secrets of Broadchurch to avoid spoiling what happens next for the viewers,ā€ he added.
