Sky 1 has announced the full cast for Bounty Hunters, the upcoming six-part series from Jack Whitehall and Freddy Syborn; the team that brought you Bad Education.
Bounty Hunters, an action-comedy drama, will star Oscar-nominated Rosie Perez (Fearless, White Men Can’t Jump), Robert Lindsay (My Family, Hornblower, GBH) and Charity Wakefield (Wolf Hall, Doctor Who, Sense and Sensibility).
The series will focus on Barnaby Walker (Whitehall), a British antiques dealer who is experiencing serious financial hardship. When he unwittingly buys a ‘blood antiquity’ looted from a war torn area in the Middle East he calls for help from New York Based bounty hunter Nina Morales (Perez) to return the statue and regain his money. Barnaby’s father (Lindsay) has been recently hospitalised by a mystery accident but had secretly dabbled in black market goods from the shop.
The cast also features Sophie Thompson (Into the Woods, Four Weddings and a Funeral), Bradley James (Merlin), Kyle Soller (Poldark) and Doc Brown (AKA Ben Bailey Smith, David Brent: Life on the Road).
Bounty Hunters is currently in production and is set to air on Sky 1 and NOW TV in Autumn 2017.
