We’ve now reached the sixth week of Britain’s Got Talent, and this week’s round of auditions did not disappoint.
First act was the first to take the judges outside ever, these were a group of divers. The dives were being done from the normal Olympic standard of 10 metres to an incredible height of 25 metres. This has never been attempted on Britain’s Got Talent before. This is one of the most dangerous acts that have been on the show, it was really impressing to the judges. Well done lads!
Next up was Stevie Pink, the illusionist. His act got the audience thinking of how he did the act with just a fan… But they loved it, cheering it on all the way through the audition. Well done Stevie, you have got us all guessing, we cannot wait to see what you do next.
The animal acts came out in force this week, there also being a variety of animals auditioning. First a donkey, next a raccoon, and a dancing dog. Will anyone live up to the standard of Ashley and Pudsey?
Joseph Hall danced his way through his audition, pulling out all the stops with his amazing footwork, flips and body popping. Alesha commented said that it was effortless. Simon also commented saying that is how an audition should be done.
Five piece vocal group The Band of Voices sung Price Tag, an accapella version. Everyone was clapping and bopping along, what a unique audition, you don’t hear many accepella auditions nowadays, and that was something pretty special! Alesha said it was refreshing to hear. They even got an encore of their own version of ‘God Save The Queen’ before they even got their votes, surely that proves they have some talent. Simon said that they were very impressive.
Aspiring 80s artist Maarty made three out of four judge have a good time. David Walliams was the first to start dancing along to the very enthusiastic 23 year old, who got through to the next round.
The final audition was singer Aliki, aged 29 sung her way through her audition, no one was expecting an operatic version of Evanescnce – Bring Me To Life. The audience were cheering loudly at the unique singing and the big notes she held. She got a standing ovation from the audience and bringing the judges close to tears. Amanda commented saying it was amazing. What an inspiring girl for all she has been through and to fight back with such an amazing voice. What an emotional but inspiring and an amazing audition.
Britain’s Got Talent returns next Sunday at 8:00pm.
