Britain’s Got Talent: Week 3 recap

And here we are for the third week of weird and wonderful auditions!

First on this week was  an eleven year old who was aspiring singer and diva named Asanda. She sang Rihanna’s Diamonds. Asanda brought a bit of a diva to the stage, not actually singing for the first 30 seconds, but after busting some moves she wowed everyone with her soulful voice. The crowd clearly loved her. Alesha Dixon said that you could already hear that she wants a record deal at that age… That is some serious talk coming from someone like her. Four yes’s too! Well done Asanda! And celebrating by having a McDonalds, a pretty standard way for an eleven year old’s to celebrate!

The next act which wowed everyone was a four piece band called Luminites, who have been together for two years. They sung an acoustic number which silenced everyone and kept the judge’s attention throughout; this is definitely a modern fresh group and brought something new to the table for the music industry, with the beat boxing teaming up with the acoustic guitar and harmonies. They all worked so well together! The crowd totally loved it! The judges’ opinions are totally 100% true, they are definitely ready-made stars. This was the easiest act to have got through this week and thoroughly deserved it. Well done!

The Duelling Pianos clearly were a favourite for David Walliams, he got the audience clapping along and physically making Simon Cowell clap along too. The judges cleared buzzed in too early… Boo Simon for saying no! But yes David for putting these talented people through! We cannot wait to see what they do next!

This week also included a dangerous act that had everyone on the edge of their seats… Aaron put hot wax on his face, a bandage, black duct tape on his face, and foil covered his face…. Then got two random people from the audience and Ant involved in an act that was so dangerous! As Amanda Holden said, it was terrifyingly brilliant. It definitely had everyone gripped.

Finally there was Robbie Kennedy from South Wales who sung Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls, the audience loved this take on the song, and he definitely has a unique voice. Finally, an acoustic act that Simon Cowell actually liked! Well done Robbie!

Britain’s Got Talent continues next Saturday on ITV.
