The war between Lucas (Antony Starr) and Kai (Ulrich Thomsen) is hotting up and weāve got a feeling that they are going to get much worse by the seasonās end.
If you havenāt seen the latest episode of Banshee and want to avoid spoilers then we suggest you stop reading now. If you have seen it and want to relive the action then keep reading.
Last nightās episode of Banshee saw Lucas discover that Jason (Harrison Thomas) was missing and the answer to his disappearance led him straight to Kai and Rebecca (Lili Simmons) after Sugar (Frankie Faison) confirmed heād seen Jason leave the bar with Rebecca. Lucas found the money he gave Jason along with the watch that had belonged to his father in the empty hotel room.
After confronting Rebecca and Kai, both chose to deny they had anything to do with Jasonās disappearance, which we all know to be complete lies. Anyone else feel a bit sick after that meat grinder scene before the credits?
Furious with Kai and Rebecca, Lucas recruited his police team to target Kai starting with his strip club. During a raid Lucas ran into a drunken Gordon Hopewell (Rus Blackwell) and the two had a nasty fight which came to an abrupt end when they were interrupted by Deputy Siobhan (Trieste Kelly Dunn) and Gordon realised his family needed him (more on that later).
The shakedown led Lucas and his team to a trio of skinheads that work for Kai and violence resulted in one of them revealing the location of one of Kaiās factories. With Job (Hoon Lee) and Sugar in tow, Lucas rammed a truck into the factory and blew it up leaving a raging fire burning bright as he walked away from the scene.
Meanwhile Carrie/Anaās (Ivana Milicevic) short-lived stint as a law-abiding citizen came to an end when she asked Jon to help her plan and carry out another raid. This time she needed the money to pay for the medical expenses of her son who was rushed into hospital following an asthma attack. Deva (Ryann Shane) was left to deal with the situation whilst Gordon drank himself stupid and eventually she called her mother for help. At the hospital the family were told that their son is getting worse and his condition deteriorating.
Alex Longshadow (Anthony Ruivivar) saw his alliance with Kai pay off when the Kinaho chiefs took a vote to oust him and he came away victorious. Thanks to Kaiās intimidation no one voted against Alex apart from George (Gil Birmingham) but whatās it going to cost Alex we wonder?
Banshee continues Monday at 10pm on Sky Atlantic HD.
