Former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts has been confirmed as a guest judge for the semi-final of Let It Shine.
Appearing on the show on Saturday 18th February 2017 on BBC One, the singer and dancer will join permanent judges Gary Barlow, Martin Kemp and Dannii Minogue for the penultimate show in the series.
Ashley Roberts, āIām beyond excited to be joining Let It Shine and taking a judging seat beside the brilliant Gary, beautiful Dannii and handsome Martin. Iām looking forward to sharing my experiences of being in a band and I canāt wait to see what surprises the boys have in store for their live semi- final performances!ā
Over her career Ashley has sold more than 54 million records as part of the Pussycat Dolls, embarked on a solo career, been a judge on Dancing on Ice and taken part on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.
In the semi-final double bill of Let It Shine, the four remaining bands will go head-to-head in a bid to impress the judges and the audience at home. For the opening performance the bands will perform a classic Take That hit and will join Take That for a special performance of Shine.
Each band will also perform their songs for the week, which will include a dance break. The two bans with the lowest public votes will each perform a classic Beatles song in the dramatic sing off. The two bands will then be disbanded and the boys will be judged as ten individuals. Gary, Dannii, Martin and Ashley will then decide which five boys will carry on as a band to the grand finale of Let It Shine.
Let It Shine continues at 6.55pm this Saturday on BBC One with guest judge Ricki Lake.
