The search for 2017’s X Factor winner continued tonight as the girls went head to head against the boys and sang to remain in the competition. Judges and mentors, Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell were there to support their contestants.
This weekend the X Factor honoured George Michael as last night the overs and groups sang for a space on next week’s live show. Unfortunately, Jack & Joel scored the lowest amount of votes and left the competition.
Jack And Joel performed Edge of Heaven and I really enjoyed their rendition of the song. Like every week the boys brought energy and positivity with them on stage. The boys gave a good performance and sounded good too but perhaps it was not as popular a song to sing.
What the judges said: Nicole thought they sounded amazing, Sharon thought the song really suited them and thanked them for being so great.

Tonight Alisah poured her heart out and in my opinion this was one of her best performances on the live shows. The young Filipino singer really wowed me with her big vocals and emotional performance but unfortunately it was not enough for the public, who voted her out of the competition tonight.
What the judges said: Louis said that she picked the right song and Nicole added that her voice seemed limitless. Simon was booed by the crowed as he criticised Alisah for being too old-fashioned. It seems the public agreed with Simon and did not pick up the phone for her.
