Toby (Chris Sullivan) was revealed to have cardiac arrhythmia on the latest episode of This Is Us.
Following his dramatic fall, which looked like a heart attack, Toby found out that he had a heart condition that could be corrected with surgery. He wasn’t sure he wanted to go through with it but Kate (Chrissy Metz) urged him to put his health before his fears. The two also discussed marriage.
Meanwhile Randall (Sterling K. Brown) felt pushed out after William (Ron Cephas Jones) chose to spend time with Jesse (Denis O’Hare), and Kevin (Justin Hartley) was thrown when Olivia (Janet Montgomery) made a surprise return.
In the past storyline Rebecca (Mandy Moore) and Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) searched for a house to accommodate them and the triplets. Jack approached his estranged father for money and bought a house he had been working on.
The next episode of the season is The Big Day. Rebecca forgets Jack’s birthday. Dr K struggles after the loss of his wife. Joe, the firefighter who brought baby Randall to the hospital, tries to save his marriage.
