Noël Coward’s Private Lives, first performed in 1930, is enjoying a new lease of life in a production by Richard Eyre at the Vaudeville Theatre in London’s West End. It stars the very busy Matthew Macfadyen, no stranger to any acting medium, and the evergreen Kim Cattrall as terribly urbane socialites whose chance meeting at a hotel in France creates chaos in their lives and their spouses’.
