Annie Bosko releases new self-titled EP full of 90s flair & fun

After a globe-trotting country music journey marked by resilience and artistic exploration, Annie Bosko is making a triumphant return home. This time, it’s not just a physical return; it’s a return to the heart of country music. Bosko has found her way back to the record deal she always dreamed of and to the essence of simple country songs that resonate with healing and hope. Released today (January 5) her five-track EP promises a nostalgic journey anchored in the organic twang of the ’90s golden era.

Bosko, who has garnered respect from fans and heroes alike, expresses a newfound passion for authenticity in her music. Signed to Stone Country Records and collaborating with producers Derek George and Mickey Jack Cones, Bosko’s EP embraces unapologetic twang, clever wordplay, and profound compassion. In a departure from trends and a return to her roots, she declares, “I’m done being afraid to show my country roots. And I’m doing it with a modern twist.”

The EP features Bosko’s first single with Stone Country Records, the sultry ‘Neon Baby,’ which debuted as the third most-added song at country radio. Other tracks include the tongue-in-cheek ‘He Gone,’ co-written by Lainey Wilson, Terri Jo Box, and Trent Tomlinson. The collection also includes reflective moments in songs like ‘Sometimes I Forget.’

Expressing her excitement for the new music, Bosko shares, “The thing that excites me about this new music is I feel rejuvenated. It’s the way I felt about country music that urged me to drive to Nashville at 19 years old, and with that time comes wisdom and a better understanding of who you are.”

As a prelude to the EP release, Bosko recently performed the National Anthem at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas and is slated to join the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena on New Year’s Day, performing on The Cowboy Channel’s float “Cowgirl’s Rule.” The EP release show will take place at Los Angeles’ renowned Troubadour, promising an intimate and memorable evening for country music enthusiasts.
