Yamato Drummers to entertain Woking

Yamato Drummers are bringing their new show Rojyoh: The Beat on the Road to the New Victoria Theatre in Woking for one night on Sunday 10th March.

The show is part of the 20th anniversary world tour of the Yamato Drummers. The group last visited the UK in 2008. Founded in 1993 by Artistic Director Masa Ogawa, the company has performed in more than 50 countries for over 5 million people.

Yamato play Wadaiko drums that range from the size of a plate to over a metre in diameter including the Odaiko drum, hewn from one huge tree over four hundred years old.
