The Cat in the Hat revived at Greenwich Theatre

The National Theatre’s adaptation of Dr Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat is to enjoy a revival at Greenwich Theatre from Wednesday 19th to Sunday 23rd February.

The brand new production will play for twelve performances only at Greenwich Theatre.

From the moment his tall, red-and-white-striped hat appears around the door, Sally and her brother know that the cat in the hat is the funniest, most mischievous cat they have ever met. With the trickiest of tricks and craziest of ideas, he turns a rainy afternoon into an amazing adventure. But what will mum find when she gets home? Based on the much-loved book by Dr Seuss, The Cat In The Hat is a lively and engaging first theatre experience for young children aged 3+.

The cast features Ashley Bates as Cat, Paul Cleveland as Fish, Cassandra Harris as Sally, Robert Hannouch as Boy, Jill Regan as Thing 1/Kitten 1 and Andrew Beckett as Thing 2/Kitten 2.

The cast of The Cat in the Hat will be presenting a special reading of Dr Seuss’ book at Waterstones Greenwich, 51 Greenwich Church Street, SE10 9BL on Saturday 15th February at 12.00pm.

The show is adapted from the work of Dr Seuss by Katie Mitchell, who directed the original production. This new production is directed by Lillie Collier, designed by David Shields and produced by Kylie Vilcins for PTM Ltd.
