Inspector Norse arrives in Leeds next month

LipService Theatre Company will arrive at Leeds’ City Varieties Music Hall next month with Inspector Norse.

The show takes on the Swedish crime thriller that has swept the world and upholds the current fashion for a central female detective. The show will be performed on Wednesday 13th March.

Ex-popstar and recluse Freya Johansson discovers a body in her remote farmhouse barn. Enter introverted, monosyllabic Detective Inspector Sandra Larsson in her iconic knitted jumper. She and her cop partner Erik uncover a disturbing mystery involving a famous 1970ā€™s Swedish pop band. As the body count mounts and the only suspect is a troll, Sandra and Erik go undercover to solve the case. Featuring Nordic walking and some drunken moose.

The set for the comedy is partially knitted and LipService are looking for local knitting groups to help decorate it. If you want to get involved email [email protected]

You can buy tickets for the production at www.cityvarieties.co.uk
