Curious Incident supports World Autism Awareness Week

The cast of the National Theatre’s multi-award winning production of The Curious Incident of Dog in the Night-Time at the Gielgud Theatre have worn onesies in support of Onesie Wednesday on 1st April. It is part of World Autism Awareness Week 2015, organised by the National Autistic Society to encourage everyone to wear their onesies or pyjamas to work in order to stand out for autism.

Cast members that took part in the photo call on Bunny Christie’s striking set for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time at the Gielgud Theatre were Graham Butler who plays Christopher and Sarah Woodward who plays his teacher Siobhan, as well as cast members Gay Soper, Roxanne Palmer, Sam Bond and Viv Acheampong.

Graham Butler who plays Christopher in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time said: “Me and my fellow cast mates are delighted to show our support for World Autism Awareness Week’s ‘Onesie Wednesday’. I hope that London is in a sea of colour today with everyone going to work and school in their comfy onesies!”

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, adapted by Simon Stephens from Mark Haddon’s best-selling novel, is directed by Marianne Elliott.
