Blood Brothers at Leeds Grand Theatre

Written by Willy Russell, the legendary musical Blood Brothers returns to Leeds Grand Theatre in May.

Blood Brothers tells the moving tale of twins who, separated at birth, grow up on opposite sides of the tracks only to meet again with fateful consequences. “We see repeat audiences for Blood Brothers,” says Deputy Box Office Manager Pat Bruce. “It is very well received here in Leeds; everyone looks forward to knowing who will play Mrs Johnstone!”

This year Maureen Nolan plays Mrs Johnstone, the mother of the twins and the central role. Original Blood Brothers’ cast member Warwick Evans takes the role of the Narrator, the ever-present character that tells the story throughout.

Blood Brothers is one of only three musicals to achieve the milestone of over 10,000 performances in the West End and has been affectionately christened the ‘Standing Ovation Musical’.

Blood Brothers is at Leeds Grand Theatre from Monday 20th to Saturday May 25th. Tickets are on sale now priced from £16 to £31.50. Book online at leedsgrandtheatre.com or call box office on 0844 848 2700
