The X Factor 2017 grand final started tonight with the remaining contestants, Kevin Davy White, Grace Davies and Rak-Su. They were joined by the judges and mentors Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell. I was watching and ranked my favourite tracks on the show below.
 3. Kevin Davy White – Fast Love, Pt. 1 by George Michael
Kevin’s second song was a complete surprise but it was a good one. The French artist was mesmerising on stage and performed a beautiful version of George Michael’s hit song. I thought it was a powerful performance and loved his duet with Tokio Myers.
What the judges said: Nicole said that Kevin had a special gift that he brought people together and it was an honour to work with him.
2. Grace Davies with Paloma Faith – RootsÂ
Grace’s second song choice was perfect. I was so glad to hear her perform her original song as it captivated me the first time I heard it. The young singer also showed off her piano-skills and I thought Paloma added something extra to the song.
What the judges said: Sharon was full of praise for Paloma and added that the duet sounded like a hit and that she wanted Grace to win.
1. Rak-Su – Mamacita
Rak-Su chose to perform one of their original songs and looked like a real boy band on stage. I loved the boys dance routine and . The boys looked a bit stiff on stage at times but vocally sounded great.
What the judges said: Louis said that they were the most exciting act on The X Factor and that everything was great. Sharon added that their songs were infectious and that everybody adored them. Nicole also thought they were a phenomenon and that people needed their music.
The X Factor winner will be revealed tomorrow night when the final reaches its conclusion.
