Eugene (Josh McDermitt) was the focus of the latest episode of The Walking Dead.
Taken by The Saviors as punishment for Rosita’s (Christian Serratos) actions, Eugene was surprised to be given privileges and perks due to his intelligence. Realising he may be able to use Eugene to his advantage, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) worked on grinding him down.
First he gave Eugene his own room then sent some of his wives to spend time with him. Eugene bonded with two of the wives and was convinced to make poison capsules to help another of the women commit suicide.
By the end of the episode Eugene was submitting to Negan’s demands and it seemed that he’d turned on his friends.
Elsewhere Dwight (Austin Amelio) framed Dr. Emmett (Tim Parati) for the disappearance of Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Sherry (Christine Evangelista).
The next episode of the season is Say Yes. Members of the group scavenge for supplies. Meanwhile, back in Alexandria, someone must make a morally challenging decision.
