Damon (Ian Somerhalder) made a deal with Alexandria (Mouzam Makkar) to save Bonnie (Kat Graham) on the latest episode of The Vampire Diaries.
He promised to deliver Bonnie to her to open the vault provided she sent help to finish off Rayna’s (Leslie-Anne Huff) list of vampires. Meanwhile the pills started to wear off Bonnie so she could practice magic again. She opened the vault and trapped Alexandria inside it. Rayna’s last life was transferred to Bonnie but she also inherited the huntress’ instincts leading her to feel compelled to continue Rayna’s work and putting all of her friends in danger.
Elsewhere in the episode Matt (Zach Roerig) realised that he killed Penny (Ana Nogueira) and that Stefan (Paul Wesley) had given him a false memory to protect him from the pain of what he’d done.
The next episode of the season is Requiem for a Dream. When Damon’s risky attempt to save Bonnie takes an unexpected turn, the consequences of his actions force everyone to band together.
