Hacktivists escaped from a secret CIA black site in Manhattan on the latest episode of The Blacklist: Redemption.
Tom (Ryan Eggold) and Nez (Tawny Cypress) were sent to try and find them. The leader of the escapees Brian Mayhew (Christopher Denham) was actually framed by the NSA who locked him away after claiming he had hacked missile plans and sold them to Iran.
Using the knowledge he had, Tom helped Scottie (Famke Janssen) push back against the NSA and give Brian his freedom back.
Meanwhile Howard (Terry O’Quinn) helped throw Scottie off Tom’s trail by hiring actors to play adoptive parents and make her feel like she’d come to a dead end in the search for her son.
Elsewhere Scottie asked Solomon (Edi Gathegi) to follow Tom and find out what he was hiding from her.
The next episode of the season is Borealis 301. Tom and Solomon go undercover on an international flight they believe will be hijacked. Howard urges Tom to find proof of Scottie’s conspiracy.
