eJay Pure to include 8bit chiptune pack

Independent developers and wannabe videogame musicians will be able to quickly and easily create authentic chiptunes when eJay Pure hits iOS and Android later this year – with your help. The 1,000 strong sample pack will mark the first time the eJay series has catered for this booming genre and illustrates the breadth that Wired Productions is bringing to the core eJay experience.

To celebrate, Wired Productions has released a selection of samples for everyone to download for free whether they are a Kickstarter backer or not. Just head to their eJay Pure Kickstarter page and hit the updates tab to find them.

eJay Pure is a touch-screen reworking of the pioneering PC music-making software, which allows users to quickly and easily create original music tracks from a bank of beat- and pitch-matched samples. By manipulated blocks of music across multiple tracks, a vast array of brilliant, original music can be created.
eJay Pure will bring the complete eJay experience to everyone, no matter what their musical taste. Coming from a gaming background, we’re particularly excited about the 8bit selection, which will enable eJayers to create new, original soundtracks with a very retro feel. The beauty of any composition made within eJay Pure is that it will be 100% royalty free – which will help any small or medium sized developer.
eJay Pure is currently running a Kickstarter campaign, with rewards varying from 1,000 samples for a pound, right up to having your song featured as the opening track in the game. For more information or to show your support visit the eJay Pure Kickstarter page.
