Trust Me series 2 episode 1 preview – the new series begins 16th April on BBC One

Trust Me returns for series 2 to BBC One next week and it will feature a new cast and storyline.

The first series of the smash-hit medical drama aired in 2017 and starred Jodie Whittaker (Doctor Who).

The new series will be led by Alfred Enoch (How to Get Away With Murder) and will also star Ashley Jensen (After Life), John Hannah (Four Weddings and a Funeral), Katie Clarkson-Hill (The Innocents), Richard Rankin (Outlander), Amiera Darwish (The Tunnel), Manjinder Virk (Holby City) and Elliot Cooper.

Series 2 is set in a Glasgow hospital and it follows the story of Corporal Jamie McCain (Enoch), who is recovering from a spinal injury which has left him paralysed.

The synopsis for Trust Me series 2 episode 1 is:

When Jamie McCain arrives on the spinal unit heā€™s angry, uncooperative and refuses to talk about his injury. But what has really happened to Jamie, and is he a man we can trust?

Trust Me series 2 begins at 9pm on Tuesday 16th April 2019 on BBC One. Preview it with our gallery below:
