Supergirl 2×07 The Darkest Places preview

Kara (Melissa Benoist) and J’onn (David Harewood) were left weak while fighting their newest foe on the latest episode of Supergirl.

A parasite caused Dr. Jones (William Mapother) to murder his group of scientists in Norway and he fed off Kara and J’onn’s energy to become stronger. With J’onn in critical condition and Kara recovering from the attack, James (Mechad Brooks) made his public debut as the Guardian in his new suit. Mon-El (Chris Wood) joined in the fight too and Kara used plutonium 239 to defeat Jones.

M’gann (Sharon Leal) agreed to donate her blood to save J’onn but it was revealed that she’s not a Green Martian, she’s actually a White Martian and her blood could have a detrimental affect on J’onn.

Elsewhere in the episode Mon-El considered making money by using his powers for a life of crime, James convinced Winn (Jeremy Jordan) not to tell Kara about his alter-ego, and Alex (Chyler Leigh) came out to Kara but was left disappointed when Maggie (Floriana Lima) told her she just wanted to be friends.

At the end of the episode Mon-El was kidnapped by Cadmus.

The next episode of the season is The Darkest Places. While fighting to free Mon-El from the clutches of CADMUS, Supergirl comes face to face with Cyborg Superman.
