2009 X-Factor winner Joe McElderry has announced that he's gay. In an interview due to be published in The Daily Mirror tomorrow, Joe talks openly about his sexuality and his decision to go public with the news.

On 20 September 2010, 25 years since the release of their first single, Take On Me, a-ha will be releasing their last ever track Butterfly, Butterfly (The Last Hurrah). Taken from their ultimate album 25 – The Very Best Of (released 4 October) this very special release and final piece of new material from the band marks a-ha’s farewell year.
 

The Brits led the charge at tonight’s Relentless Energy Drink Kerrang! Awards, which saw Bullet For My Valentine, Biffy Clyro and You Me At Six all voted winners, beating off competition from their American rivals.

London based singer songwriter Alan Pownall is set to play a headline show at the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen this August 3rd.
