The final season of Scandal kicks off in the UK this week so prepare to say your goodbyes to Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington).
In the season 6 finale Olivia played with fire by taking on the role of Command for B613 and continuing to work as Mellie’s (Bellamy Young) Chief of Staff. The episode also saw Luna’s (Tessie Santiago) deceit revealed and Olivia and Jake (Scott Foley) forced her to kill herself.
Olivia convinced Mellie to nominate Cyrus (Jeff Perry) as her Vice President and she realised that it was Cyrus that put the idea of killing Frankie (Ricardo Chavira) into Luna’s head.

The first episode of the season is Watch Me. One hundred days into Mellie’s presidency, Olivia Pope is running the world. But to avoid a global disaster she may have to make her toughest call yet.
