Kim Cattrall is somewhat of an icon thanks to her role as slutty Samantha on the hit show Sex and the City. With the second spin-off movie due in cinemas in few months, and a stint on the West End in Private Lives imminent, Cattrall has been talking to GT magazine.
Talking about the success of Sex and the City, Cattrall tells GT 'I think the thing that I love about the show is that the four women are really integrated, you know, merged together, one complete woman. I think that’s what makes it really fun and interesting that so many women – and men, gay or straight – can relate to that in some way. Or be educated by it.'
Moving on to talk about the themes of her West End play Private Lives Cattrall reveals “I think breaking up is hard to do, then you get back together and that’s hard to do. That’s the story of this play. Can you live with them? Can you live without them? It’s matters of the heart, it’s not maths. It’s complicated. There is no wrong way really.”
