80’s heart-throb Corey Haim was found dead today in his home in Burbank, California. Cause of death is thought to be an accidental drug overdose. He was taken to St. Joseph’s hospital in Burbank, California but was pronounced dead around 3:30am local time. He was only 38.
The talented actor was a huge star in the 80’s with hits like License To Drive and Lucas but it was with The Lost Boys that Haim made his name. This fantastic Vampire flick was an instant classic featuring the likes of 24’s Kiefer Sutherland, Jason Patric, Diane Wiest, Bill & Ted's Alex Winter and Haim’s partner in crime Corey Feldman. Haim and Feldman would go on to make numerous films together and even starred in a reality show about their lives, The Two Coreys.
EF is saddened to hear this terrible news – despite his recent problems Corey Haim was a fantastic talent and one that will be sorely missed.
