In last week’s episode of ANTM13 it was go-see week and the short aspiring models dashed to their appointments in pairs. Equipped with a map and car, each pair had to navigate through the streets of Los Angeles, meeting with potential clients that could help launch their careers.
Amongst the regular Go-see’s, there was an audition for a commercial, which most of the girls had a hard time handling. Kara lost out at the jewellery designer, as she doesn’t have pierced ears, where as Jennifer was criticised for wearing too much make-up. During the commercial casting, Laura left a lasting, yet wrong impression with her “hood rat” accent, and Brittany was criticised for being too robotic. However Nicole stood out during the shoot, making up for the prior week’s bad performance and as a surprise to some, she was declared the winner, rewarded with clothing from each designer, as well as starring in the commercial she auditioned for.
At the photo shoot, the girls posed as flying-high fashionable Samurais, lifted into the air upon a harness whilst holding the martial arts weapon of their choice. At judging, Kara and Sundai ended up in the bottom two and Kara was eliminated for her consecutive appearance at the bottom.
The latest online challenge for America’s Next Top Model 13 was to show off your fierce personal style and Genesis Lynea was chosen as the lucky winner. You can check out her winning image at www.antmchallenge.com
In this week’s episode we see the models star in a cosmetics commercial.
So naturally this week’s challenge is all about make up. We want you to send in a head shot of you showing off your best make up artistry, but this challenge has a twist.
We want to see the transformation for ourselves, so one side of your face needs to be without makeup and then the other side of your face needs to be made up as if you are heading out for a glam night out.
