Maddie (Lennon Stella) found herself in a world of trouble on the latest episode of Nashville.
Desperate to play a gig at a club that Cash (Jessy Schram) set up for her, Maddie lied to Deacon. Daphne (Maisy Stella) let Maddie’s real whereabouts slip and Deacon headed down to the club where she was secretly performing.
When he arrived, Deacon lost it as he saw a man groping her while she performed on stage. That started a row between Deacon and Cash where he warned her to stay away from his daughter.
Elsewhere Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) convinced Avery (Jonathan Jackson) to trick Glenn (Ed Amatrudo) into seeing her perform at the Opry so she could win him over and sign him as her manager again.
Meanwhile Riff (Steve Kazee) disappeared on Luke (Will Chase) the night before their tour, Layla (Aubrey Peeples) blackmailed Luke into letting her open for him and asked Avery to be her music director, and Rayna (Connie Britton) was left fuming after she spent time trying to set up a tour for Layla only to have her artist go rogue.
The next episode of the season is Didn’t Expect It To Go Down This Way. Rayna and Deacon are devastated when Maddie runs away from home. Juliette feels threatened by Avery’s connection to Layla.
