Luke’s (Will Chase) attempts to bond with his son Colt (Keean Johnson) failed miserably on the latest episode of Nashville.
Following Colt’s revelation that he saw Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) on the rooftop the night that Jeff (Oliver Hudson) died, Will tried to get his son back on side after asking him to keep quiet about what he knew. The two tried to spend some time together fishing but Gabriella (Cynthia McWilliams) invited a photographer along to capture the day causing more friction.
Meanwhile Will (Chris Carmack) had one of his songs put on hold by notorious anti-gay Country star Wade Cole (Josh Coxx). Will had mixed feelings about letting Wade record his song but Avery (Jonathan Jackson) encouraged him to do it so he could get a break for his career.
Elsewhere Maddie (Lennon Stella) teased Daphne (Maisy Stella) during a photoshoot, Markus (Riley Smith) asked to record one of Deacon’s (Charles Esten) songs then changed the words, and Deacon confronted Rayna (Connie Britton) about Markus’ feelings for her.
The next episode of the season is We’ve Got Nothing but Love to Prove. Markus is due to appear on “Good Morning America” but when the time comes he finds he’s anything but ready.
