Sophie Hunger - 1983
Sophie Hunger has had a very eclectic upbringing growing up in Switzerland (Bern), the UK (London), Germany (Bonn) and finally back in Switzerland in Zurich.
Her music is equally as eclectic and rather quirky and strange. Hunger sings in several languages on this album which keeps the listener on their toes unaware as to what to expect next.
The songs divide into equal parts quirky, French, German and beautiful ballads. Hunger has a certain Amy Macdonald lilt and quality about her voice.
