Just before heading-off to perform a few more gigs Dangerfield is releasing his brand you single Faster Than The Setting Sun and EF had a listen.

Fyfe Dangerfield the front of the Guillemots has embarked on a solo adventure for his latest album Fly Yellow Moon. Just before his gig at Shepherds Bush Empire O2 we got the chance to have a chat about the future of the Guillemots and his solo career.

How are you today?

I am pretty good. I am performing tonight and getting things ready.

On Wednesday night Dangerfield supported Corinne Bailey Rae at the Shepherds Bush Empire O2 and after a brilliant gig at Scala EF was eager to see him play again.

Fyfe Dangerfield is probably better known for being the front man and founder of indie rock band Guillemots. A band who is quite famous for choosing quirky musical instruments over the more traditional type. Following two successful albums with Guillemots Dangerfield is now releasing his solo album Fly Yellow Moon. EF was lucky enough to attend his last stop on the UK tour at London Scala.

Fyfe Dangerfield is better known as the lead singer of pop juggernaut Guillemots. Having released two critically acclaimed albums with that band, Dangerfield is taking a break to have a crack at a solo acareer. His debut album Fly Yellow Moon is due later this month but to tease fans he’s releasing his first solo single She Needs Me.
