Miles Kane – Don’t Forget Who You Are single review

Miles Kane is back with his new album Don’t Forget Who You Are, produced and co-written with Ian Broudie (The Zutons, Echo and The Bunnymen). The album marks a new chapter in Kane’s career with its bigger heavier tone. Don’t Forget Who You Are is also being released as a single and we had a listen.

Miles Kane’s new single kicks off with a moody guitar and a blend of blues that has become the artist’s trademark sound. The verses are quick and vibrant, whilst the bridge slows things down and then comes the chorus. Don’t Forget Who You Are’s chorus is pretty infectious, with its catchy melody and anthem-like vocals. This is a well-crafted track with a lot of detail.

We love to see how Miles Kane’s music has matured and are excited about this new album. Don’t Forget Who You Are is a solid single with a fitting summer sound.
