Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy has released new song Like Gold, taken from his forthcoming album Nation of Two.
The second track to be released from Nation of Two, Like Gold is the follow up to Lay It On Me.

“I wrote Like Gold after coming off the road at the start of 2016,” said Joy. “It started with a simple melody I was humming and the idea of looking back at a relationship.”
Nation of Two, due for release in February 2018, is Joy’s first collection of new material since his 2014 debut Dream Your Life Away.

Discussing the album title Joy says, “Nation Of Two describes a perfectly self-contained couple; their world beginning and ending at the bed they share, the car they ride in, or any other place where they’re together…the idea that their love for each other gives them their bearings; a point of reference that makes sense of life,”
Joy has been in the UK this week performing headline shows and he’ll return on 7th March to play a show at London’s Brixton Academy. The show was originally announced for The Forum but had to be upgraded due to demand.
