The Kooks are back with a brand new single Down, which was previewed on Radio 1 as Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record. You can watch the video for Down here.
The song was written by Luke Pritchard and hip hop pioneer Inflo and the result is a brand new sound from the band.
“With this record we didn’t do any rehearsing beforehand,” Luke Pritchard says. “I’d write a song with Inflo or on my own, put it up and we’d all play over it. There was a real freedom to the process.”
Down was recorded in LA and is released digitally and on 7” and will be out 20th March.
