The Great Escape is coming

Brighton’s very own The Great Escape has revealed details of its much-anticipated 2014 line-up. Championing up and coming acts TGE is the place to be if you want to know who is going to be big in the future.

100 acts have been revealed including the Saturday night billing on the biggest stage!! Opening the festival season and running from the 8th-10th May TGE will play host to 400 of the best emerging acts but also some very well known. Taking place over the course of 3 days, attracting over 18,000 music lovers and spreading across 35 venues in Brighton, The Great Escape is the place you will want to be this spring.

One of the big names to have been revealed is the one and only Kelis, who is set to play on Saturday 10th May. The US artist is about to release her 6th studio album, Food and the UK festival will be a great opportunity to catch her ahead of the success of the new album.

Kelis commented, “I’m looking forward to playing The Great Escape, its a great line up and it will be fun to play out my new album come May.”

BRIT award nominee Ella Eyre has also been announced as support and will return to the festival for a second year running.
