One Direction to perform in Albert Square

One Direction will perform live in Albert Square for BBC Children In Need it has been announced.

The group will perform from the EastEnders set exclusively for BBC Children In Need. The group will sing new song Night Changes and their current single Steal My Girl. Niall, Harry, Louis, Zayn and Liam will perform from Albert Square’s iconic bridge in a TV exclusive.

Talking about the performance One Direction said, ā€œWe are thrilled to be performing on BBC Children in Need again this year. Itā€™s a charity that we hold very close to our hearts and we are really excited about our special performance in the iconic EastEnders Albert Square.ā€

One Direction join an already packed line-up that includes Cheryl, The Script, Susan Boyle, Boyzone and S Club 7. Gareth Malone and his All-Star Choir will be performing the official BBC Children in Need single for the first time on television. The stars of the choir include Jo Brand, Mel Giedroyc and Craig Revel-Horwood.

The BBC Children in Need Appeal show airs on Friday 14th November from 7.30pm on BBC One and BBC Two.
