Mariah Carey has been teasing new music all week and yesterday she released her new single I Don’t.
After first being teased on the season finale of Mariah’s World, I Don’t was made available worldwide yesterday. On Wednesday a sneak peek of the video arrived giving fans a taste of what to expect.
Last night the full video dropped and it features Mariah performing the track with rapper YG. In a scene reminiscent of We Belong Together, Mariah is seen running away in a wedding dress, which she quickly ditches in favour of lingerie and a revealing black PVC ensemble.
During the video Mariah is seen flipping the bird to the camera, writing on a car bonnet and burning her wedding dress. The song is rumoured to be about the breakdown of her relationship with former fiance James Packer.
Fans hoping for a full album from Mariah this year may be disappointed after the star admitted during a Facebook Live chat that she was concentrating only on singles at the moment.
