Mariah Carey has debuted new single The Art of Letting Go exclusively on Facebook.
The track is the follow-up to her worldwide smash Beautiful which featured Miguel. The Art of Letting Go is believed to be the title track of Mariah’s forthcoming album and is a ballad that combines classic and contemporary Mariah.
To mark the release Mariah is doing a live Q&A right now on Facebook answering as many fan questions as she can get through in the time she has.
In a note to fans on Facebook Mariah said:
For the first time ever, here it is… “The Art of Letting Go”!!!
This is such a personal record to me. I wrote the lyrics so that anyone and everyone could relate to them and hopefully release anything that they need to let go of that’s holding them back or bringing them down. Thank you for sharing this experience with me!
