Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington has died aged 41 after committing suicide it has been confirmed.
The singer is believed to have hung himself and his body was found yesterday at a private address in Los Angeles, California. The news of Bennington’s death was announced by Linkin Park band member Mike Shinoda on Twitter:

Bennington’s death has come as a shock to the world and it happened as Linkin Park were preparing to embark on a tour next week. It has been reported that Bennington had struggled with alcohol and drug abuse during his life and had been hit hard by the suicide of his close friend Chris Cornell.
Linkin Park shot to fame with their 2004 album Hybrid Theory, which sold over 30 million copies worldwide. The album is one of the best-selling albums released in the noughties.
The band released their latest album, One More Light, in May.
Bennington is survived by his wife and six children from his two marriages.
