Katherine Jenkins signs new deal with Decca

Katherine Jenkins has renewed her relationship with Decca Records signing a new deal that will see her release her next album this autumn.

The signing marks the beginning of a new era for the classical artist who is celebrating her 10th anniversary in the music industry. Katherine made the announcement at The Ritz.

Katherine Jenkins said: ā€œIt feels not only very exciting but very special to be returning to Decca ā€“ a decade after they first signed me and to many of the people who helped launch my career. It amazes me to think that this will be my 10th album and for this, it seems the perfect place to be going ā€˜homeā€™ to.ā€

Dickon Stainer, President of Decca Records said: ā€œWe are delighted to be welcoming Katherine Jenkins back to Decca to celebrate a decade since her first signing to us. She is a uniquely talented artist.”

Katherine has become one of the most successful classical crossover artists ever selling in excess of 8 million albums to date. She received an OBE for services to music and charity in the 2014 New Year Honours List.
